This Privacy Policy describes how Further Theory, LLC ("MagicRows", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the MagicRows website, apps, and services (the "Service"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in our Terms of Service. This Privacy Policy is not a contract and does not create any rights or obligations beyond those required by applicable law.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information collected automatically, and information from others, including:

  • Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, credentials, and settings.
  • Your Content, such as spreadsheets, files, data, questions, instructions, Output, edits, and history, including content imported from third-party services.
  • Collaboration information, such as the people you invite and the access they have.
  • Transaction information, such as your plan, usage, and payment details processed by our payment providers.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, device and browser identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, pages and features used, referring pages, timestamps, and logs.
  • Communications, such as support requests, feedback, and survey responses.
  • Information from others, such as collaborators who share spreadsheets with you, service providers, analytics and advertising partners, and publicly available sources.

2. How we use information

We may use information for any purpose described in this Privacy Policy or disclosed when it is collected, including to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and support the Service, including producing Output;
  • develop, train, test, and improve our products, services, and machine learning models;
  • analyze usage and trends, and personalize the Service;
  • communicate with you, including service messages and marketing;
  • advertise and measure the effectiveness of our marketing;
  • enforce our Terms and usage limits, and detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • comply with law and legal process, and protect the rights, property, and safety of MagicRows, our users, and others; and
  • create de-identified or aggregated information, which we may use and disclose for any purpose.

3. How we disclose information

We may disclose information:

  • to our affiliates;
  • to service providers and partners that help us operate, improve, and market the Service, such as hosting, database, authentication, AI model, email, payment, analytics, and advertising providers;
  • to people you share with or who share with you, and as otherwise directed by you;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, including during negotiations;
  • when we believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with law or legal process, to respond to government requests, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MagicRows, our users, or others; and
  • with your consent.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, understand usage, and for advertising and measurement. After you sign in, we may also record your sessions (pages viewed, clicks, and scrolling) to understand and improve how the Service is used, with on-screen text and what you type hidden from the recordings. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but the Service may not work properly without them. The Service does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as we consider necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide and improve the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Security

We use measures we consider appropriate to protect information, but no system is completely secure, and we do not guarantee the security of any information.

7. Your choices

You can update your account information and delete your account through the Service. You can opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in them. If the laws of your jurisdiction give you rights regarding your personal information, you may exercise them by contacting us as described below, and we will respond as and to the extent required by those laws. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we may decline requests where permitted by law.

8. Content about other people

You are responsible for any information about other people that you submit to the Service, including providing any notices and obtaining any consents required by law. We may refer to you any requests we receive from those people.

9. United States operations

The Service is operated in and intended for use in the United States. Information is processed and stored in the United States and other countries whose laws may differ from those where you live. By using the Service, you understand that your information will be processed in those countries.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it as required by law.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the updated version. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we make material changes, we may also notify you by other means.
